Kelley McManama —
Human Resources Assistant
Please introduce yourself and describe, in broad terms, what you do for Delex.
I am Kelley McManama and I am a Human Resources Assistant with Delex Systems, Inc. I am currently in my eleventh year of service here. I assist our department in the administrative duties that deal with all of our benefit plans. I also perform new-hire orientations, input payroll information, and assist on special projects.
How do you feel about your work environment?
I have been very happy here in my work environment. When I first started working at Delex, I was the Corporate Receptionist. I then transferred to the Human Resources Department. Both of these positions brought me in contact with just about all of the employees who work for Delex. I have also found it to be a very family-oriented atmosphere.
What skills have you learned or developed at Delex?
I have enhanced my computer skills since working here. Through my daily duties, I have reports and information that I send to different agencies. I have also learned to work better with others and have enhanced my customer service relationships. I have also improved my math skills through my daily duties.
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment at Delex?
My greatest accomplishment at Delex has been helping our employees and making this a place where people continue to want to be employed.
